I Will Make No Objection to Shakira
With Shakira not on The Voice this season, I will have to get my weekly doses here. Is she the greatest female rocker since Stevie Nicks? I have no "Objection".

The weekend snow got me looking at Pete Townsend White City.. and one of my favorite Pete songs, Face the Face.
Who says a trombone solo doesn't ROCK ! ?.... and it looks like Pete is wearing one of my jackets...

Best Loverboy Song Ever?
TGIF people...we've all been 'working for the weekend' and it made me wonder...what is everyone's favorite Loverboy song (duets with Ann Wilson don't count!!)? This is a really tough choice to make, but I had to go with...
A Little Alternating Current
A colleague in Europe texted me that the power was out... so I sent him a little electricity

How About A Little Double-Take From The 80's
Caleb and I were driving listening to 80's on 8 Sirius radio and this song came on and he loved it. I then introduced him to the videos and explained Danny Elfman, the guy who pretty much composes every score for movies nowadays...anyway here's two from Oingo Boingo!
50 Shades of Paradise
For those couples snowed in their car while driving home from the 50 Shades of Grey movie... I present you the MEAT !!
Black Cat Licorice + Interactive Video = AWESOME!
You need to view this video on a computer so you can toggle between the three different videos to create your own. I originally thought this would be hoakie, but I have to admit, it is so clean and clever, I am sharing it everywhere today... starting right here!

Alive Inside - So Alive
Ellie is working on her 5th Grade Exhibition where she is tasked to research Music and its effects on our Health. We watched this AMAZING documentary last night on NETFLIX, "Alive Inside". I could not help but think of the Jay-Strings and how I know I look just like these subjects in the movie when I get an email with your song selections. Check it out:
And my selection for the day... Love & Rockets' "So Alive"... just seemed fitting.

How About Some Soft-Core and Girl-On-Girl For Your Thursday Morning?
In Preparation for Valentines Day
The Dunwells "So Beautiful" Live Acoustic Performance
These guys opened for Sheryl Crow in Denver a few years ago. All of their songs are great - meaningful lyrics and addictive harmonies. You might just start singing along.
Dedicate this one to your Valentine... or yourself, you selfish bastards.

Uncontrollable Women of the 80's!
So here are two selections from the 80's about some out of control girlfriends! The first one is simply awesome because it has Rick James in it.
And since the second is classic because of the ending.s

I Blame It On My A.D.D.
Had to carry this over from Jen's previous post. By the sound, I always thought this group was like Daft Punk, where it was one or two guys over some computers making the music. This is cool to see them in action.

It's 2 Hump Wednesday, Bishes!
Did any of you get a chance to listen to the Jack White concert live last Friday on Pandora? I got the first three songs before being pulled away. I did listen to the entire "replay" Pandora is offering. Don't think it is the entire show though.
Ran across this interview of Jack White before the show, and I am even more of a fan. Enjoy.
And so you know... this is the White Stripes parody by Weird Al.
CNR!
Remember this guy on Hollywood Squares?
