DOH! How could I have forgotten that big bass on Les Claypool? This reminds me of California in the early 90s. This was on the Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey Soundtrack, and sadly, my first introduction to Primus.

Soulive George Porter Jr, Warren Haynes - Aint No Use - 3/14/14 - Bklyn ...

I have been thinking of an artist worthy of this week's bassist challenge. Once I came up with George Porter, Jr as my first choice (Killer Meters, Meters, etc), then the next challenge was finding the best video of him... his a magnificent in all of his live videos. This was a cool collection of talented artists.

Here's one of my favorite rock bassists.... Getty Lee from RUSH....  This is the song YYZ played in Rio

Wonder why they call the song YYZ?  YYZ is the identifier for the Toronto airport... when flying in to Toronto  the airport broadcast its identifier.. and in Morse code it sounds like the rhythm of the introduction of this song...
