Besides just being in Santa Monica last week with Strings, this song evokes a celebration of life and a heartache of loss remembering the my little brother.

He would be 37 today.

This marks 12 years of celebrating his birthday without him, however, this also marks the ninth year that his son, my nephew, has had Jason as a guide, teacher, and father-figure.

For this, I am thankful and grateful.
